Based on the novel by Edith Wharton, this musical follows the life of Suzy, a down-on-her-luck socialite living off the generosity of her friends. She makes a deal to marry a novelist, Nick, to marry and live off of the wedding gifts, then falls for her husband. The show features jazz music and fashions, commenting on “the modern age”.
